Une escadrille d\u00e9di\u00e9e est alors cr\u00e9\u00e9 au sein de l\u2019Escadron Poitou bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Orl\u00e9ans-Bricy, l\u2019Escadrille des Op\u00e9rations Sp\u00e9ciale (EOS). <span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;\">Le rythme des op\u00e9rations ext\u00e9rieures n\u2019ayant jamais baiss\u00e9 depuis, la vocation de cette unit\u00e9 a entra\u00een\u00e9 l\u2019affectation de tout l\u2019escadron au soutien des forces sp\u00e9ciales et son r\u00e9\u00e9quipement avec une flotte mixte de <i class=\"spip\">Transall<\/i>, d\u2019<i class=\"spip\">Hercules<\/i> et de <i class=\"spip\">Twin Otter<\/i>, d\u00e9sormais d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e un peu partout.
